Ear Piercing
Ear Piercing starts from £15
Hallmark is one of the most popular places in the wirral for ear piercing, staff
are friendly and fully trained and all piercings are made with 9ct Gold earrings.
There is no need to book an appointment for ear piercing but please note that during
busy periods (eg school holidays) you may have to wait.
Once your newly pierced ears have healed why not pop in and see our lovely range
of silver earrings.
How do we pierce?
Our highly trained member of staff will first show you the collection of earrings
that we use to pierce with, you can choose from a plain stud or one with a little
stone. All earrings are completely sterile in individual packaging. Once you have
chosen your studs the member of staff will load the earring into the special piercing
instrument.
Your ear lobe will be cleaned with a special disinfectant/antiseptic wipe and a
special pen will be used to mark where the earring will go.
The piercing instrument will then be centered over the hole and the earring will
be inserted.
You'll be shown your new earrings in the mirror and given a list of instructions
for after care procedures.
After Care
Do not touch your ears with out washing your hands.
Clean the new piercings two times a day, and also after swimming or washing hair.
Be careful when using perfume or hair spray.
Then turn your earrings slightly in both directions also backward and forward, to
prevent it from adhering to the ear.
Make sure they are not too tight and are not pressing on the ear.
Make sure the earrings are not embedded in the ear.
Do not remove starter stud for at least 4 to 6 weeks, or 8 to 12 weeks for cartilage
piercings. For the next six months, only wear high-carat gold or surgical stainless
steel earrings. Be sure that you always wear some type of an earring, to avoid holes
closing for 6 month to a year.
